Installed Vantive software on multiple workstations. 

 

City Building, Inc.: (Through S.I.S.)

Provided PC support services. Developed maintenance prevention process for workstations.

 

Pacific Bell NT-OD Project: (Through S.I.S.)

NT Conversion Specialist on project converting 12,500 operational desktop workstations to NT 4.0.

§         Invited to join this project due to successful implementation of Standard Desktop project.

§         Successfully led conversion teams at remote sites through out Northern California.

§         Completed 2500+ workstations ahead of schedule before project ended due to merger.

§         Implemented and tested 3270 emulation apps converted from XNS to TCP/IP.

§         Maintained migrated data integrity so no data was ever lost in this project.

§         Ensured all workstations converted and tested nightly, ready each morning for the client with no work interruption, as ongoing availability was crucial to this project.

 

Pacific Bell Standard Desktop Project: Data Migration Specialist (Through S.I.S.)

Team leader on 10,000 manager’s workstation deployment involving upgrade from Windows for Workgroups to Windows NT 4.0. The desktop standardization rollout heavily utilized MS Office suite, MS Exchange, Netscape Navigator, TCP/IP, XNS, 3270 Emulation and proprietary apps.

§         Planned and conducted extensive site survey and workstation data gathering at geographically dispersed locations ahead of schedule.
